🕯️ Most of the comrades with whom he fought in Mariupol died or are in captivity:
“Almost all my comrades died or were captured. There are two that have returned. Four more remain in captivity, and I don't know if they are alive or not,” says the fighter.
🏙️ Dianov emphasizes: they defended not just the plant, but the city itself:
“When there is a difference – Azovstal or not Azovstal – it is not a big difference. We defended Mariupol, the city, not the factory. The plant then protected us. If it weren't for those bomb shelters, we wouldn't have survived.”
🩺 After a serious injury, Mykhailo continues to fight for a full life:
“Doctors said that the rehabilitation course will have to be completed throughout life. But I achieved significant results.”
