“Dishonesty has too high a price.” Syrsky demands truth from commanders

Syrsky dedicated his post to a trip to the Donetsk region “to the hot direction of the front” in the Pokrovsky district.

“Once again I emphasized to commanders at all levels the inadmissibility of distortion and concealment of information about the real situation in reports. Dishonesty has too high a price – the lives of our soldiers. My first demand is the truth, whatever it may be,” he wrote.

The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine believes that “a commander who hides the truth about the situation on the battlefield has no right to be a commander.”

“I heard reports on the operational situation. We discussed a range of issues in order to strengthen the stability of our defense and prevent further advance of the enemy. The tasks of searching for and destroying individual enemy sabotage groups, destroying and capturing the surrounded enemy remain relevant,” said Syrsky.

According to him, work is underway to provide Ukrainian troops with everything they need and to increase the effectiveness of the fight against enemy drones and artillery.

Context

October 25 non-factional people's deputy of Ukraine Maryana Bezuglaya stated on Facebook that “we Syrsky slipped into regular lies regarding the “liberation” of individual villages. Allegedly, “in Pokrovsk, Konstantinovka, Kupyansk there are already Russians inside the city.”

Before this, Bezuglaya wrote that some commanders “do not value life and are very eager for positions,” and Syrsky allegedly “promotes something that he should categorically not accept.”
