“The Immortal Regiment” will be held in the traditional face-to-face format in at least 45 Russian regions. The rest of the cities, especially the border ones, will hold the event online for safety reasons, like last year.
According to Mash, they will march around the city with portraits of veterans in St. Petersburg, Karelia, Komi, Arkhangelsk, Yaroslavl, Ufa, Perm, Orenburg, Samara, Lipetsk, Chuvashia, Orel, Vladimir, Ivanovo, Tver, Murmansk, regions of the Urals Federal District, Siberia and the Far East, Makhachkala, Vladikavkaz, Novgorod and Vologda regions.

There are also undecided ones – Moscow, Smolensk, Penza, Kazan, Kirov, Ulyanovsk, Mari El, the southern regions (except Rostov), Stavropol, Nalchik, Kabardino-Balkaria, Grozny and the Caucasus have not yet decided in what format to hold the “Immortal Regiment”.
