The CFR 1907 Cluj club and its president Cristian Balaj have reached an agreement regarding the amicable termination of collaboration, the Cluj club announced on Monday.
Coming to Gruia in the fall of 2021, former referee Cristian Balaj won a championship title and a Romanian Cup from the position of manager of the CFR Cluj club, notes News.ro.
“We thank him, in this way, for the dedication and seriousness with which he has always carried out his activity and we wish him much success in the future”, specified CFR Cluj.
Cristi Balaj (54 years old) announced since last week that he will no longer be the president of the CFR Cluj football club and that the decision is to be formalized in the coming days. The “rupture” was then also confirmed by Ioan Varga, the financier of the group from Gruia.
