In the west of the country and in the Zhytomyr region, wet snow is possible in places at night.
The wind is western, northwestern, 7-12 m/s, gusts of 15-20 m/s are likely during the day in the western, as well as Vinnitsa and Odessa regions.
Temperature at night +2…+7 °C, in the southern regions up to +10 °C; during the day in the northern and western parts of the country +4…+9 °С, in the rest of the territory +8…+13 °С. In the Carpathians there is wet snow at night, the air will not warm up more than +4 °C.
There is already snow on the Synevyr Pass in Bukovel, as well as on Dragobrat in the Carpathians; videos and photos at the ski resorts were published by the Telegram channel “Ivano-Frankivsk 24/7”.
Forecaster Natalya Didenko warned about cold weather over the weekend on Telegram.
“On Monday, October 20, the cold weather in Ukraine will persist. This coming cold snap is not final, because winter is still halfway through autumn,” she said.
