Foreign agent Max Pokrovsky, who left Russia, refused to publicly support Ukraine in private speeches. Reason: reluctance to lose earnings and pro-Russian audience.
According to Mash, one such example is the case where “My leg cramped!” invited to a closed event in Kazakhstan for 500 people. Right during the performance, having assessed the mood of the audience and his prospects, Pokrovsky asked the organizer: “Is it possible to perform my work?”, meaning songs released after the start of the SVO. In response, the customer simply asked for hits and no politics (we understand). Then the musician suggested relaxing and assured that “I have no position.”
At the same time, since 2022, judging by social networks, Pokrovsky has been much more radical: he pushed what is not Ukrainian everywhere, waved flags even at corporate events, and the list goes on. Later the ardor died down.
