Three people were injured on Saturday in the center of Giessen, after firearms were fired in a bookmaker, a Local Police spokesman said, DPA, taken over by Agerpres.
The individual who opened the fire fled from the scene and is still freedom after the incident, produced around 3:00 pm (13:00 GMT) in this city in central Germany.
The police are looking for the perpetrator, and a spokesman for the law enforcement said there was no danger to the public.
The place of the attack was isolated, and the criminals started their investigation.
There is no information on the severity of the condition of the injured persons, no additional details have been revealed, as the perpetrator's search operation is still underway.
