For three years of war, Metinvest Akhmetov directed UAH to support Ukraine 8.4 billion
During the war, the company became one of the largest donors of the Armed Forces: it produces steel “hiding places”, protective metal screens for military equipment, shields for Patriot CBRs and the mine.
The soldiers also received from Metinvest 7 700 reconnaissance drones, 2,000 thermal imagers, 2,000 units of high -precision observation optics, 450 reserve power systems, 875 units of communication equipment and 650 cars.
The company also puts significant efforts in support of veterans. More than 8,000 metinvest employees are served in the Defense Forces of Ukraine: the company supports them during their stay in the army, and after returning – creates the conditions for comfortable adaptation of veterans to civilian life.
In addition, at the beginning of the war, Metinvest launched the work of the humanitarian project “Rescuing Life”, which has already helped about 516,000 peaceful Ukrainians. Approximately 4,200 tons of products, personal hygiene and first -need products were delivered to Ukraine, and hospitals are provided with medicines and equipment for 9.5 million UAH.
Among the important directions of the program is the physical and psychological restoration of military personnel and civilians, as well as a prosthetics program, which received help with almost 140 defenders and civilian Ukrainians.
