Russians are less likely to watch entertaining shows on TV on New Year's Eve, basically it is interesting only to pensioners – survey
Very few people plan to watch such programs: in total 11% Russians, experts say. According to the survey:
– 47% Respondents will not watch “Classic Shows” on New Year's Eve. This is on 2% more than in the previous year;
– 34% turn on the broadcast for the background, and among women there are more than men (38% against 30%);
– listening to the show against the background is more popular among people over 45 years old and y families with children.
According to experts, over the years, the tradition of watching New Year's shows weakens, and this trend will continue.
