PSD MEP Mihai Tudose said on Tuesday that if Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan wants to resign, the country can have another prime minister in 24 hours, according to Agerpres.

“We did not go to the civil status with Bolojan by hand. We have a protocol signed with the other coalition parties, with the PNL, the USR, the UDMR and the minorities. If Mr. Bolojan, I do not know the threat or the promise, that I understand that yesterday (Monday-no) I did not ask. Realities, some economic models and some easy-to -acue effects of chaotic measures it takes, ”Mihai Tudose told Brussels, in a briefing for Romanian journalists.

“If he considers that he wants to leave, the PNL, according to the protocol, must designate another prime minister (…).

“The resignation is a unilateral act, we take a document, it has left, we do not have to approve his resignation,” he added.

Asked about the visit of Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan on Monday, during which he met several European commissioners, Tudose replied Lapidar: “Sir, I did not see it!”.

Asked if the PSD can still work with the current prime minister, Tudose replied: “We try, but after the latest experiences (…).”

Tudose gave the example of the discussion about capping the additions of the prices of the basic food products, whose continuation is supported by the PSD, and pointed out that his party has prepared a law in Parliament to promote a measure in this regard in case the prime minister acts contrary.

“If his reign, I do not know, the votes on the natural person, 51% in the Parliament, an absolute majority and a mandate in white forever, he was free. But you are a prime minister representing a coalition and you must take into account everyone in the coalition,” said the former prime minister of Romania.

One day after engaging the Government liability on the measures package, Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan was asked by Hotnews in a press conference if he resigned if the draft law on the pensions of the magistrates will fall to the CCR.

“When you have an important project that is a milestone to make other similar decisions, if it does not pass, it is hard to assume that the government still has the legitimacy to come up with similar measures in other fields,” Bolojan replied.

The Constitutional Court judges on Wednesday, September 24, the notifications of unconstitutionality on all five draft laws of the Bolojan Government.
