Emmanuel Macron criticizes Israel's actions. “I have to say that”

– Israel achieved unique safety results, (…) but Conducting this type of operation in the Gaza Strip is completely anticipative, that is – I have to say – failure – assessed the French leader in an interview broadcast on the air station channel 12. He emphasized that Hamas must be destroyed, but it cannot be done only with military measures.
Macron also defended his decision to recognize Palestinian statehood by Paris. This is to formally take place on Monday during a conference convened by France and Saudi Arabia supporting the solution to the Middle Eastern conflict by creating a Palestinian state next to Israel.

Israeli authorities have repeatedly criticized this decision and Macron himself. The current Israeli government opposes the creation of independent Palestine, and defines the unilateral recognition of this country as rewarding Hamas terrorism.
“This is a process that will cause a series of new attitudes and behaviors,” Macron said, adding that the recognition of Palestine's statehood is also the best way to isolate Hamas, which opposes this solution and wants to destroy Israel.
The French president noted that now is the last moment to recognize Palestine, “before the two -state solution becomes completely unrealistic”, due to the approach of the “Israeli government, in particular some of its ministers”who want to destroy this possibility. Many Israeli politicians openly support the annexation of the occupied Western shore, which would become part of the Independent Palestinian state.
Macron also denied in an interview that his position towards Israel and Palestine would be dictated by political problems within France, which was suggested by, among others Prime Minister Binjamin Netanyahu.
The UN is to restore sanctions for Iran
– We have never underestimated the threat of the Iranian nuclear program – also declared the French leader. He announced that the UN would most likely restore Iran sanctions in connection with the violation of the nuclear agreement concluded in 2015.
It endured some of international sanctions in exchange for Iran's obligation to limit the nuclear program. After the US withdrawal from this agreement in 2018, Tehran began to depart from the provisions of the agreement, including enriching uranium above the designated limit.
The case is to be the subject of voting during the Friday meeting of the UN Security Council. The mechanism of re -application of sanctions was launched at the end of August by France, Great Britain and Germany.
The West from a long time accuses Iran of work on nuclear weapons. Tehran maintains that his nuclear program has a peaceful character.
