
Composer Evgeny Doga died. He was 88 years old.
According to Mash, the cause of death: acute heart failure against the background of oncology, with which the artist fought for more than 20 years. He also suffered from chronic coronary heart disease and hypertension.
Evgeny Doga became famous as the author of music to more than 200 films, including “My affectionate and delicate beast”, the waltz from which (in the video) was recognized as one of the musical masterpieces of the 20th century – he was even performed at the opening ceremony of the Olympics in Sochi. He wrote ballets, operas, symphony and chamber music.
