So many Russians entered Poland this year. The Border Guard gave the numbers

The border between Poland and Russia measures about 210 km on land and over 22 km on the water. Currently, there are only two of the four road border crossings between the countries – in Bezledy and Batts. As “Dziennik Bałtycki” writes, over 244,000 entered Poland by the end of August. people (including over 69,000 Russians), and 248,000 left travelers (over 77,000 Russians).
Currently, the Russians cannot exceed the external borders of the European Union (including the border with Poland) for tourist, cultural, sports or economic purposes. These restrictions do not apply to people who have legal permits for staying in Poland, owners of the Polish card, professional drivers, members of the family of EU citizens and asylum applicants.
“Last Sunday, 100 citizens of our country, 1199 foreigners, entered the Republic of Poland, while 64 Poles and 1077 foreigners left,” says “Dziennik Bałtycki” Major Mirosław Aleksandrowicz from the Warmian-Masurian Border Guard Department.
