Rostelecom will make street lighting in Achinsk more vivid, energy -efficient and protected from bad weather

Rostelecom is implementing a large -scale project to modernize street lighting in Achinsk.

As part of the municipal contract concluded in August 2025, at the beginning of next year, more than 1,600 smart lamps will appear in the city, which will replace obsolete analogues.

Modern LED lamps will be connected with digital equipment, which will allow control of the lighting system remotely, for example, to set up automatic turning on and disconnecting lamps, control the operation of metering devices, as well as quickly identify illegal power networks. This will optimize energy consumption and increase the level of safety on the streets of the city.

“As part of the Rostelecom contract, it invests its own funds in the supply and installation of equipment. The return of these investments will be carried out in stages – within seven years from the funds saved by the city on electricity consumption, which will be approximately 9 million kW/h, ”said Alexei Usatov, director of the Krasnoyarsk branch of Rostelecom.

Lamps will differ not only in high energy efficiency, but also with improved brightness, impact resistance and reliable protection against short circuits and voltage jumps. They will be installed on key highways and pedestrian zones – in the Belarusian, Omsk, the governors of Tukhachevsky, Shchetinkin, Lenin, Kalinin, Chkalov, builders.

“Thanks to the mechanism of the energy service contract, we attract investments, update the outdated infrastructure and subsequently we can direct saved funds to resolve other important social issues,” said Igor Titenkov, head of the city of Achinsk.
