Impact of weather conditions on the indications of systems
The command explained that the entries of radar systems could have been related to the weather conditions in the region. However, due to the presence of unidentified objects in close proximity to the border, the army's reaction was necessary. Attention was also drawn to the similar situation, which took place in Romania, where the local air force also noted the indications of their radar systems, taking appropriate defense actions.
As cod pointed out, all activities were aimed not only in confirming data from the systems, but above all to ensure security and counteract possible threats. “RSZ operational command remains in constant readiness for reaction” – emphasized in the announcement.
