The new world record was set in Moscow. We are talking about the number of players in one table tennis competition – 5167.
The largest tournament in history was held on June 8 in Luzhniki. Check out the scale: 160 tables, 100 judges who simultaneously followed the games, as well as four categories: children, men, women and veterans. The action was literally covered by the entire stadium.
The festival organized by the Department of Sports of the city of Moscow was attended by hockey stars, the holder of the Gagarin Cup, NHL player Artemy Panarin and the two -time winner of the Stanley Cup Mikhail Sergachev. They chopped off with the young, and then even played with each other (Panarin won 2: 1).
