Some foreigners without 800 plus
On Friday, the Sejm adopted an amendment to some laws in order to verify the right to family benefits for foreigners and determine the conditions for helping Ukrainian citizens in connection with armed conflict in this country. On the one hand, the Act is a response to the veto of President Karol Nawrocki, and to the other – the implementation of the announcements from the presidential campaign of Rafał Trzaskowski. Firstly The Act extends until March 4, 2026 the legality of the residence of Ukrainian citizens who escaped from the war, and secondly introduces restrictions on the payment of 800 plus for foreigners, including Ukrainian citizens. However, it turns out that ZUS and Border Guard can verify whether foreigners meet all conditions, you must first spend PLN 30 million on adapting IT systems. Energy prices frozen
The Sejm adopted the Act on a heating voucher and on amending some other acts, which also extends the “freezing” of electricity prices at the level of PLN 500/MWh for households. This means that electricity bills will not increase by the end of 2025. The regulations also provide for the introduction heating voucher up to PLN 1,750 in 2025 and up to PLN 3,500 in 2026 for households. Apartments for officers
