Most of the incidents were associated with the launch of fireworks, which were also used for attacks on police and firefighters. The authorities detained 420 people, now about 310 violators are in custody.

Similar cases took place in other European cities: five people died in Berlin when trying to launch fireworks, in Munich and Leipzig attacked the police with bottles and fireworks, and in Belgium even had to introduce a commandant hour for people under 16 years of age.
