All Russian events were canceled in Azerbaijan until the New Year. The reason, according to the media of the republic, was yesterday’s detention of Azerbaijanis in Yekaterinburg.
The day before, more than 50 people were taken to the police, among them they were searched for involved and witnesses in the case of custom -made murders in 2001, 2010 and 2011. The Azerbaijan Foreign Ministry protested, saying that two brothers died during the raids – Huseyn and Ziyaddin Safarov, eight more were injured.
