Mrs. Jagoda sold a flat. She paid for the electricity for half a year

“Gazeta Wyborcza” describes the story of Mrs. Jagoda, who sold the apartment in January. She reported this to the ENEI current suppliers, gave the meter condition and asked for the final invoice. The new owner of the apartment also made all formalities – he submitted a request to rewrite the meters for him and asked for a new contract.
However, in March, Mrs. Jagoda got an invoice for PLN 273.17 for January-February. At the hotline, she heard that there is a 30-day notice period and her contract would expire only in March. The woman paid the bill, but in June she got another. Enea explained that it was a mistake and assured that she would be repaired.

Then Mrs. Jagoda learned that the new owner of the apartment did not sign a contract with Enea. – As he claimed, it resulted from some system error. Let's emphasize that we have already reported the case in February, so a few good months have passed. It wasn't until June 10 that the buyer called me that he finally had this contract. Meanwhile, on June 13 I received the third invoice for PLN 147.42. My hands dropped – says the woman in an interview with “Wyborcza”.

The power supplier recommended that Mrs. Jagoda would agree with the buyer that he would pay bills with her name. – The new owner would probably do this, but if he got a written confirmation that he would not get invoices for this period, because why should he pay double? – says in an interview with the newspaper.
The woman reported invoices for correction. She was to wait 14 days, no one spoke until August. Instead, there were debt collection news. Enea explained “Wyborcza” that the bills were actually at the wrong address. The power supplier assured of correction within a few days. Enea did it the same day.
