The searches took place with the general director of the Mikhailovsky Theater and Moscow Art Theater Vladimir Kekhman. The interest of the security forces in his house in the suburbs is connected with the criminal case of assignment and embezzlement during the reconstruction of the Moscow Art Theater.
According to Mash, Vladimir Kekhman was not detained – while he was invited to the UK as a witness. He has held the position of general director of the Mikhailovsky Theater since 2007. In 2021, Kekhman was also appointed to the post of Gorky Grace General Director.
