Tomsk scientists have found a way to reduce the treatment of dental channels

August 15, 9:00

The undergraduate of Tomsk University came up with how to save on a tool for cleaning dental channels.

A student of the Faculty of Physics of TSU has developed a technology for strengthening dental patrols, which will allow you to use one tool up to 15 times.

As RIA Tomsk writes with reference to the press service of the university, the girl has already developed a prototype from Nickelide Titan. It allows its reusable to use high plasticity, strength and wear resistance. Existing expensive nickelide-titan patches often become unsuitable after the first use.

It is noted that such a result was achieved thanks to the technology of vibration -humanic surface processing (vibration), which allows you to form a smoothed relief of the surface of the product and make it stronger.

The development of undergraduate has passed laboratory tests for evaluating mechanical qualities. It was established that the limit of the strength of the product increased by 1.2 times, and corrosion resistance is half as compared with market analogues.
