Police officers detained six suspected persons that they tried to mislead the criminal investigation bodies, simulating the sale of a weapon for a defendant to kill a reduction of the punishment, according to a statement of the General Police Directorate of the Municipality of Bucharest (DGPMB). In the center of the investigation is Laurențiu Marin, known in the interloping world as “Solomon”, the eldest son of the “witch Sidonia” and a member of the Fabian clan.
Searches in Bucharest, Ilfov and Galati
On Tuesday, the police officers of the Criminal Investigation Service in the Capital, under the supervision of the Prosecutor's Office attached to the District 3 Court, carried out 11 home searches in Bucharest and in Ilfov and Galați counties. Following them, six people were detained for 24 hours and are to be presented on Wednesday in front of the magistrates, with legal proposal. Another person is already in preventive arrest, in another criminal case.
How the deed would have been carried out
“From the data and evidence administered in question by the police officers of the Criminal Investigation Service, it resulted in the reasonable assumption that, between March 5 and 7, several persons, in various forms of participation, would have simulated the sale of a firearm for the purpose of formulating by a man (sent to court in another file, in terms of committing the crime of murder) of a complaint, with the consequence of reducing the punishment limits“, It is shown in the DGPMB statement, quoted by Agerpres.
Judicial sources confirmed that Laurențiu Marin is accused, along with his brothers, that on the night of February 10 to 11, 2024 he would have killed a businessman from Târgoviște, during a party at a boarding house, Dâmbovița, after a conflict out of the background of offense to the victim's wife.
