The president emphasized that all decisions regarding the security of Ukraine and all of Europe must be made jointly and strengthen their defense capabilities.

Zelanski said that there are currently no signals about the Russian army to be preparing until the end of the war. “On the contrary, it conducts activities that testify to preparations for new offensive operations. In such conditions it is important that the unity of the world is not threatened,” he added.
The leaders of 26 EU countries, with the exception of Hungary, adopted a joint statement in which they emphasized that the peace process must include Ukraine, and the diplomatic solution is also to protect Europe's security. The EU declared his readiness to grant a security guarantee, including Ukraine's ability to defend effectively. The document was agreed at night from Monday to Tuesday and is to show the unity of the European position before the Meeting of the US President Donald Trump with Vladimir Putin in Alaska, planned for Friday.
