One underground hospital is working for a year, and Ukraine is preparing to open two more.
Meanwhile, in Kherson, local authorities have already opened underground departments in three medical institutions of this type. One of them was converted into a maternity ward, writes in the report the famous Spanish newspaper El Mundo. Its representatives visited an underground hospital, which was built as part of the Rinat Akhmetov steel front.
The underground hospital is a modern medical complex of 400 square meters. There are two operating rooms and intensive care departments, water wells and generator systems.
It consists of six capsules of thick metal metal, which meets the highest military requirements. They were made by Metinvest Rinat Akhmetov.
During the certification tests, engineers checked the strength of the structures with real ammunition-they fired at 120 mm shells, beat mortars and dropped eight-kilogram bombs from drones.
