Students who did not pass the BAC 2025 exam in the first session or who did not participate in all the tests take the second session of the exam in August. The written tests begin on Monday, August 11, with testing in Romanian language and literature.
The second session of the BAC 2025 exam started on August 4, with the competences assessment samples. From Monday, August 11, the written tests begin, supported by over 30,200 candidates from all over the country. Most are from the current promotion, but almost 12,000 students come from previous promotions.
This session is a new chance for those who have not passed in June or who could not attend all exams.

- August 11, 2025 – Romanian language and literature – EA test) – written test
- August 12, 2025 – Mandatory profile test – EC sample) – written test
- August 13, 2025 – Sample of choice of profile and specialization – ED sample) – written test
- August 14, 2025 – Maternal language and literature – EB test) – written test
- August 18, 2025 – Displaying results on written tests, viewing the written works and submission of appeals
- 19-20 August 2025-View written works and deposit of appeals
- August 26, 2025 – displaying the final results.
Important rules for BAC 2025 exam, August session
- Access to the room is allowed until 8:30, and the exams start at 9:00.
- The work time is 3 hours for each written test.
- Candidates must have the identity card and writing tools (pen/pen with blue ink).
- Access to phones, beasts, headphones or any other helpful materials is forbidden.
In order to pass the 2025 baccalaureate exam, the August session, the students must obtain at least grade 5 at each written test and have a general average of at least 6.
At the first session of the baccalaureate examination the percentage of promotion is 76.5% after resolving the appeals. After resolving the appeals, the success rate increased by 2.2%, from 74.3% to 76.5%, in all promotions, compared to 78.2% in the June-July session 2024.
