Pan Zhanle (20 years old) confirmed that he did not have a good week at the Singapore World Swimming Championships. Olympic champion in Paris 2024 in the 100 -meter free test, Zhanle had nightmare developments at the Asia competition and ended as badly, in the 4×100 m mixed male pole.

Zhanle did not reach the final in the individual samples of 100 and 200 free meters, where David Popovici triumphed and became a double world champion, nor in the team tests had any major contribution.

Pan Zhanle, poor evolution in 4×100 m mixed

Even though he helped his team in the free 4×200 stakewhere he obtained the silver, in the mixed 4×100 pole, everything turned into a nightmare.

The holder of the world record in the 100-meter sample, Pan Zhanle swam in the pole in a time of 47.76 seconds. Due to his performance, China, the Olympic champion at this sample, missed the final qualification.

Shun Wang, on the back length, had a weak time, 53.96 seconds, while Qin Haiyang, on the length of bras, swam in 59.98 seconds. Later, Xu Fang recorded a time of 51.39, and the last one entered the basin was Pan Zhanle, who disappointed.

After last year in Paris, in the same test, he had registered a time of 45.92, this time he swam more slowly, in 47.76. The time was similar to the one he had in the semifinals of the individual 100 -meter free sample, 47.81.

With the fourth series in series, the China's 4×100 mixed Chinese pole finished ninth in general and did not take the final of the sample, an extremely disappointing result, considering the results of the past.
