The prosecutor's office accused Glapiak, deputy chairman of the National Broadcasting Council from September 2022 that she appropriated the Longines La Grande Classique watch purchased from public funds worth nearly 6,000 zloty. The accessory, which according to plans was to be presented as a gift for a foreign delegation, allegedly went to Glapiak privately. The politician categorically denied the allegations, describing them as “absurd” and accusing about political motivation.
Although the person herself does not comment on the details of the case, the prosecutor's proceedings questioned her professional future. In the event of a conviction, she may face up to 10 years in prison. The National Broadcasting Council, whose Glapiak was a deputy, and from today the chairwoman, has not yet issued an official statement in this matter.

Changes in KRRiT and questions about ethics
According to the findings of Onet and “Gazeta Wyborcza”, Glapiak changed the rules regarding his position in the National Broadcasting Council, enabling simultaneous salary from the Council and remuneration from other jobs. Earlier, the regulations prevented this solution, which raised doubts about the ethics of the clerk. Glapiak herself, so far, has not referred to the allegations of the media.
In the face of the latest accusations – and ongoing prosecutor's proceedings in the watch – the earnings and professional activities of the former Director of the Ministry of National Defense became the subject of intensive public analysis, raising questions about the standards of the functioning of people at the highest state positions and in public institutions.
