After 5 years in Italy, Răzvan Marin changes the championship. The Romanian international will continue his career in Greece, at AEK Athens, 13 times a champion in the Greek country, the most recent in 2023.
AEK bought from Cagliari for 1.7 million euros. Răzvan signed a contract valid 3 years. “Welcome to AEK's family, Răzvan. We wish you health and success with our team!”, The Athens band said.

Last season, Răzvan Marin played 35 times for Cagliari, scoring 3 goals in series A.
The Romanian international will receive 1 million euros per year at AEK.
At the post by which AEK announces the bringing of Răzvan Marin commented also Ionuț Nedelcearu, player of the yellow-negre band in the 2020/2021 season. “I am happy to see you wearing the colors of this great club! Much success, brother!”, Hat Nedelcearu.
This summer, in Greece, Olimpiu Moruțan (with Aris Saloniki) and Andrei Ivan (with Panserraikos) also signed.
