On Tuesday, the Supreme Council of Ukraine voted on Tuesday to limit the autonomy of the National Anti -Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NAB) and the Special Anti -Corruption Prosecutor's Office (SAP). Nabu and SAP are now to be subject to the Prosecutor's Office of Ukraine.

263 deputies voted for the relevant draft act on changes in the Code of Criminal Procedure, interfax -Ukraina agency said.

The chairwoman of the Parliamentary Committee on Anti -Corruption Policy Anastasija Radin from the Fraction Servant of the Nation announced that the draft act was introduced to corrections limiting the independence of anti -corruption institutions and providing for the total subordination of NAB and SAP's activities and the prosecutor General Ruslan Krawczenka.

Nabu and SAP are to now be subordinated to the Prosecutor's Office of Ukraine.
