The CCR debates on Tuesday the complaint of gold regarding the law of “austerity”. The opposition accuses “abuse of power committed with cynicism and contempt towards Romanians”
The Constitutional Court of Romania analyzes on Tuesday, July 22, the complaint filed by gold in connection with the law “Austereity”adopted by committing the responsibility of the Government led by Ilie Bolojan. Gold claims the law is “Toxic, deeply unfair and deeply unconstitutional” and accuses the executive of “Abuse of power committed with cynicism and contempt towards Romanians.”

According to the political formation, the government imposed “A heterogeneous package of measures that seriously affect millions of Romanians” through a procedure that bypassed the parliamentary debate.
“The invocation of emergency is a false false: the budget deficit did not appear overnight, and the government has been available to intervene through normal democratic mechanisms,” transmits gold, according to Agerpres.
Among the criticized provisions are the elimination of facilities for families with children, freezing salaries, canceling compensations for non -performed leave and staggering the payment of definitive judgments. In parallel, the first censure motion deposited against the Bolojan government was rejected on July 14, with only 134 votes were registered “for”, compared to the necessary 233. The reaction of the prime minister
Prime Minister Bolojan stated in plenary that the measures assumed by the Government aim to correct the budget imbalances and accused the opposition of not offering alternatives.
“I ask the opposition colleagues, apart from a political exercise that they have checked and understand, what is the purpose of this motion? Would they want to stop and return where we left?”, Bolojan asked, mentioning that Romania already has “The first positive signals regarding the economy”.
For his part, the president of the Chamber of Deputies, Sorin Grindeanu, said that Gold does not truly follow the Government's fall, as he does not have “No coherent plan” For Romania.
According to article 114 of the Constitution, the Government may commit its responsibility to a draft law, and in the absence of a censorship motion, the law is considered adopted, and its application becomes mandatory for the executive.
