Olga Sumskaya was born on August 22, 1966 in Lviv. She graduated from the Kyiv National University of Theater, Cinema and Television named after Karpenko-Kare. She made her debut on the screen in 1983 in the film “Evenings on a Farm near Dikanka.” The popular actress became thanks to the main role in the television series Roxolana (1996–2003).
