Iran's leader spoke. For the first time since the end of the war with Israel


State television showed Chameneia welcoming the faithful in one of the mosques in Tehran during prayers on the eve of Ashura, celebrated on Sunday by Szyites Mourning Day.
The last time Chamenei publicly spoke on June 18, during the conflict with Iran, when his recorded speech was broadcast. According to the media, the Iranian leader was moved with his family to an underground bunker in the Lawizan district in the north of Tehran shortly after the start of Israeli attacks.

The declared goal of the Israeli offensive was to eliminate the threat from the Iranian nuclear program and ballistic missiles of that country. According to the Israeli army, about 30 higher Iranian commanders and 11 scientists dealing with nuclear program were also killed in attacks.
Information appeared in the media that Israel may also consider killing Chamenei himself. According to the sources of Fox News, however, US President Donald Trump opposed such plans.
