Rarely states that the owners of vehicles must treat these notifications as they concern technical and major impact problems on active safety and passive safety systems.

We exemplify that some of these recall campaigns impact the airbag component.

Studies have identified a risk, related to the combination of a warm and humid climate with the aging of the vehicle, which could cause the degradation of certain chemical components present in the airbag. In the case of an impact, the defective airbags can break when they are triggered and can design metallic fragments in the passenger compartment that could cause serious injuries or even death.

We mention that, according to the data provided by the producers, the impact on the Romanian car park regarding the vehicles whose technical problems must be remedied is almost 14,000 cars (active safety) and over 85,000 (passive safety).

In order to support its customers, Rare is in mind that, in a short term, it includes in the RAR certificate Auto-Pass the removal campaigns in services, but also creating an interactive platform to facilitate the public access on recall campaigns. Thus, we will be able to pay attention to the clients who are presented at RAR or in the ITP stations for various activities about these campaigns.

The refusal to participate in the remediation of the faults involves risks both in their own safety and passengers or other traffic participants.
