Favorite 3 from Wimbledon, Alexander Zverev (28, #ATP), was eliminated in the first round of Wimbledon by the French Arthur Rinderknech (29 years, #72 ATP), score 6-7, 7-6 (8), 3-6, 7-6 (5), 4-6. The match lasted 4 hours and 45 minutes and stretched for two days.

In the second round, Rinderknech will face Cristian Garin (29 years, #110 ATP), who passed by Chris Rodesch (23 years, #163 ATP), score 7-6 (8), 6-4, 6-4.

The match started on Monday and was interrupted at the score of 1-1. The match resumed on Tuesday, and everyone expected the German to raise their level of play.

So far, several top players on the men's painting have been eliminated from the first round at Wimbledon. Favorite 7, Lorenzo Musetti, was eliminated by Nikoloz Basilashvili in 4 sets.

Daniil Medvedev, favorite 9, lost in 4 sets with Benjamim Bonzi. Holger Rune, favorite 8, gave in to 5 sets with Nicolas Jarry, and Stefanos Tsitsipas abandoned 0-2 at sets with Valentin Royer.
