CSM Bucharest contacted Adrian Vasile to propose the return to the champion team, after the departure of Danish Helle Thomsen.

This morning the CSM Bucharest club announced on the official website the separation of Danish coach Helle Thomsen from the women's handball team. Sources close to the club confirmed for gsp.ro, that Helle Thomsen announced last week that she cannot continue at CSM Bucharest for personal reasons. She had at CSM Bucharest a contract of about 10,000 euros per month.

The Danish coach had signed with CSM Bucharest in the summer of 2024 for one season, and the club extended the understanding for another season, after looking for another technician for the 2025-2026 championship.

One by one, Emmanuel Mayonnade, Ole Gustav Gjekstad and Per Johansson refused the offers of the Romanian champion, because they were engaged in other projects.
