The Municipal Company Termoenergetica announces that hundreds of blocks in Bucharest remain in the coming days without hot water due to replacement, modernization and repair works on the district heating pipes, which will be executed in several areas of the Capital.

The interventions have different execution durations, depending on the complexity of each work. The following interventions will be performed:
Interventions on Theodor Pallady Boulevard
On Theodor Pallady Boulevard, in Sector 3, where the primary thermal network (DN 500 mm pipe) is intervened, the pipe repair works will be carried out by replacing about 10 linear meters of pipe.
“The works will be carried out between June 23, 2025, at 08:00, until June 27, 2025, at 23:00. For their achievement, it is necessary to stop the supply of the heat agent for hot water to 1 thermal point (7 blocks and 1 industrial objective). Interventions on Mihai Bravu Road
On the Mihai Bravu road, in Sector 3, it intervenes at the primary thermal network (DN 900 mm / DN 1000 mm pipe).

Interventions on Calea Rahovei
On Calea Rahovei, from Sector 5 (the primary thermal network – DN 700mm pipe), the pipe repair works will be carried out, which require the cessation of the supply of the heat agent for hot water to 37 thermal points (625 blocks) starting from June 23, 2025, 08:00 until June 27, 2025, 23:00.
“The year of commissioning of the pipeline in this area is 1987, this portion of network with almost 40 years of operation”, explains thermoenergetics.
Interventions at the intersection between Iuliu Maniu Boulevard and Valea Cascadelor
In the area of the intersection of Valea Cascadelor street with Iuliu Maniu Boulevard, Sector 6 (primary thermal network – DN 800 mm pipe), repair works will be performed that require the cessation of the supply of the thermal agent (44 blocks and 3 economic agents).
