Flamego defeated Chelsea by 3-1 and took over the head of group D at the World Club Championship. The Londoners led to the break, but they saw each other in the second.

Both teams recorded a victory with the same score, 2-0, in the first stage. The Londoners defeated the Americans from Los Angeles FC, and the Brazilians on the former team of Laurențiu Reghecampf, Esperance Tunis.
Pedro Neto and Enzo Fernandez scored for Chelsea, and the goals of the Brazilians scored at this tour were signed by Giorgian by Arrascaeta and Luiz Araujo.
