Experts of the Krasnoyarsk Rospotrebnadzor told how to use the air conditioner without harm to health.
Experts called the main rule of safe use of the air conditioner in the heat – to avoid sharp temperature drops. It is recommended that the temperature difference in the room and on the street is no more than 7-10 ° C. In addition, the room should be cooled smoothly, reducing the temperature by 2-3 degrees per hour.
It is also necessary to adjust the blinds. The stream of chilled air should not be directed directly to the workplace. In addition, from the air conditioner to it should be at least 2 meters.
For the effective operation of the air conditioner, the windows and doors in the room must be closed. At the same time, experts advise periodically ventilate the room if there is no external air fence in the device. The optimum temperature at workplaces in offices is considered +22–25 ° C.
To extend the air conditioner, it is necessary to regularly carry out preventive maintenance, that is, complete cleaning, washing and disinfection.
