The deputy Petre-Florin Manole stated, after the conclusion of the PSD leadership meeting, that his party wants to keep the “administrative levers” to ensure the compliance with the main promises made to the electorate, related especially to the protection of the purchasing power of the population, as well as to the development of the infrastructure projects.
The PSD spokesman said that the social-democratic leaders did not discuss the number of ministries on Tuesday to return to the party, nor about their possible occupants, but Manole said that the version of the premiers is “very likely”.
“The name will be decided during the consultations,” Manole added, referring to the premiers that PNL, respectively PSD, should propose.
“The paper form of a wisdom is less important. More important is that PSD and PNL have respected their word in the previous government formula,” Manole said.

For example, the investments in the infrastructure, administrative ”.
The Social Democrat claimed that there is no blockage in negotiations at the moment, but there are topics on which the discussions such as the package of fiscal measures have not been completed.

Asked if there is for PSD “red lines” related to the cutting of expenses, Petre-Florin Manole said: “We have a lot with which we agree: some increases, some discounts from public institutions (…) There is no problem at this time as long as any reduction will be decided following serious analyzes, not a reduction of paws, as in 2010.”
Also, Manole avoided telling who could be the future president of the Chamber of Deputies, which was said to be to Sorin Grindeanu.
“If we keep this position, we will also have a discussion about the person's name, if it remains who is now or changes,” said the PSD deputy.
