FC Cluj University announced that it has achieved a new move to the transfer market for the next season. The team has reached an agreement with the central defender Jonathan Cisse (28 years old), who has evolved in the last two seasons for Steel Galati, reports News.ro.

Born in the ivory coast, at Divo, Jonathan Cisse debuted in professional football in 2016, on the second team of AS Monaco. For three seasons, as long as he played for the Monegasca band, the 1.95-meter stopper tightened 45 matches in the fourth French echelon, managing to score two goals.

In the summer of 2019, Cisse took the step in the Israeli championship, Hapoel Hadera. Used in 12 matches in his first season in Israel, Ivorian has gradually become a basic man of his team, evolving in 31 matches in all competitions in the 2020-2021 season.

Cisse continued to play constantly for Hapoel Hadera and in the season 2021-2022, when he collected 36 presence, followed by 30 other matches in his last year spent in Hadera, for which he marked, in total, six times, contributing with a decisive pass.

According to the experience in Isreal, Cisse was transferred by Steel Galati, for which he evolved in 32 parties in all competitions in the 2023-2024 season, scoring five goals, one of them right in the university gate, in the semi-final of the Romanian Cup won with 2-1 by Galatians.

In this season, the Ivorian defender checked 29 presence in the steel shirt, managing to mark even in the penultimate stage of Play-out, against the Petroleum.
