Accused of trafficking in people and pimping, both in Romania and in the UK, Andrew Tate was left without a permit on Saturday, June 7, while heading for a party organized by the Brukenthal Museum in Sibiu. On the day of the party in the courtyard of the History Museum, the police in Râmnicu Vâlcea stopped the car driven by Andrew Tate with 196 km/h, in an area where the legal limit was 50 km/h. It was fined 1,822 lei and was withheld the driving license for 120 days.
Arriving at the party, he was filmed while surrounded by a dancer, smoked cigar and played tetris. The video video was posted by Andrew on the X platform, along with the following message: “I bought a tetris game on the way to the party. I never had a lot of fun for 15 lei. The party in the courtyard of the History Museum is part of a series of events organized under the name Spontan Events, parties organized in different cities in the country. Even Sibiu City Hall promoted the event on the Facebook page, announcing that it is “First Time in Sibiu” (first in Sibiu).
The leadership of the Brukenthal Museum reacted after the appearance of the images with Andrew Tate at the party, claiming it is an event contracted on the last day of the mandate of Alexandru Chituţă, the former manager of the institution.
“This is a contract concluded on the last day of Alexandru Chituță's mandate, without unilateral termination clause. We managed to make an additional act, through which we put some conditions, such as the exclusive access in the court, without access to the second court and the access stairs. I forbade smoking and imposed a few other measures to ensure the security of the museum and cleaning, given that the next day at 9:00 the museum must be open for visitation …”Explained Raluca Teodorescu, director of the Brukenthal Museum, for the quoted source.
The reaction of the former manager
For his part, Alexandru Chituță, the former manager of the cultural institution, published a text on his Facebook page, showing that through such events “Altemberger's House in Sibiu is now closer to the soul of young people and not only”.

Raluca Teodorescu, the current interim manager of the Brukenthal National Museum, said that the institution received only 7,000 lei for hosting the party. The contract was concluded on May 5, 2025, on the last day of the mandate of the former manager, and did not have a unilateral termination clause, says Raluca Teodorescu.
