President Nicușor Dan will lay flowers at the Ștefan cel Mare and Holy Monument in the heart of Chisinau, where the Bessarabians are expected to celebrate their contribution to the victory of democracy and European values in Romania.

Radu Marian, deputy of the Party Action and Solidarity (PAS), invited Bessarabians to gather on Tuesday afternoon in the center of the capital, where the leader from Bucharest, Nicușor Dan, will come.
“Dear friends who voted for the President of Romania, we invite you tomorrow, at 4:30 pm, to celebrate the Moldovan contribution to the victory of democracy and European values in Romania, together with President Nicușor Dan. We urge you to gather at the monument Stephen the Great and Holy, where the President of Romania will pay a tribute ”noted the Moldovan parliamentarian on his Facebook page.
First visit to Chisinau
On June 10, President Nicușor Dan undertakes his first official visit to the Republic of Moldova.
According to the agenda announced by the Presidential Administration, it will be received, at 1:40 pm, by the President of the Republic of Moldova, Maia Sandu, the two will have official and official talks, as well as to hold a press conference.
Also in Chisinau, Nicușor Dan will have meetings with the President of the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova, Igor Grosu, and with Prime Minister Dorin Recean.
In the evening, Nicușor Dan will participate in an official dinner offered by the President of the Republic of Moldova, Maia Sandu.
The head of state will also meet with the Olympic students from the Republic of Moldova and will participate in the event “Common European Future of Romania and the Republic of Moldova”.
The President of Romania expressed his desire to make his first external visit to the Republic of Moldova since the first days of taking over the mandate. However, the head of state has emphasized, since then, that the most likely agenda of external events will not allow this.
The first external visit of President Nicușor Dan was in Poland, in Warsaw, on May 25, before the official takeover of the mandate. The head of state then participated in an electoral event in support of the candidacy of the mayor of Warsaw, Rafał Trzaskowski, in the presidential elections in this country.
Massively supported by the Bessarabians with Romanian citizenship
In the presidential elections, Nicușor Dan was voted by 138,320 Bessarabians with Romanian citizenship, which represents 88% of the suffrage, while his counter -candidate, George Simion, obtained a number of votes over seven times lower – about 18,870 votes (12%).
