Dacia offers up to 40,000 euros to employees who want to volunteer dismissal

Dacia plans a new voluntary redundancies program, through which employees can receive bonuses of up to 40,000 euros, depending on seniority, if they choose to give up their employment contracts.
Such programs took place last year, but also in 2022, the first of this year increasing due to inflation. Specifically, writes Hotnews, the first for voluntary dismissal is as follows:
- 24,000 lei (about 5,000 euros): up to two years old;
- 60,000 lei (12,000 euros): between 2 and 4 years old;
- 110,000 lei (22,000 euros): between 4 and 8 years old;
- 130,000 lei (26,000 euros): between 8 and 12 years old;
- 160,000 lei (32,000 euros): between 12 and 16 years old;
- 200,000 lei (40,000 euros): over 16 years old.

Reasons for voluntary redundancies: robotizations or project closures
Among the reasons why collective redundancies in Dacia are the degree of robotization in some sections, which become partially automated, the projects that are closed, and the employees cannot be relocated or the decrease of the activity of some sections.
For example, At the body section, the degree of robotization increased from 42% two years ago to 60%. Also, industrial robots are increasingly present in welding.
Not all requests for voluntary dismissal of employees are approved. Last year, only 300 of them were admitted, these being only half of the total of the employees. The quoted source mentions that the eligibility conditions for a voluntary dismissal are not simple to meet, and the managers must agree for each request.

Dacia also makes hiring
