Romanian shot in Poland, admitted to Sibiu. The victim claims he had an altercation with a group of unknown persons

A man presented on the night of June 4 at Sibiu County Hospital, with a wound shot at the right arm. He claims to have been injured in Krakow, Poland, following an altercation with a group of citizens “Poles or Hungarians”, according to information transmitted by the authorities.

The police reported in an official statement that the incident would have taken place on June 3, around 07:00, outside the territory of Romania. Currently, the victim is admitted to the Sibiu County Hospital, where she receives medical care.

“On June 4, AC, around 00.00, at the Sibiu County Hospital, a 43-year-old man was presented, residing in Popești-Leordeni, who requested medical care as a result of a wound on the right arm, which would have occurred on June 3, around 07.00,” It is shown in the IPJ Sibiu statement.

Following the event, the man was admitted to Sibiu County Hospital.

The police in Sibiu have opened a criminal case aimed at the crimes of hitting or other violence, use of lethal weapon without right and non -observance of the weapons and ammunition regime. The investigations are carried out under the supervision of the Prosecutor's Office attached to the Sibiu Court.

“The entire factual situation will be established, in order to apply the legal measures”, The representatives of IPJ Sibiu said.

Currently, the circumstances in which the incident occurred are not known.
