Madonna noted that her father Silvio Chicone was 94 years old.
“He survived many wars and a lot of losses in his life. And he still has a sense of humor and a strong desire to get out of bed every morning to enjoy his day,” she shared.
The artist added that her father is often asked why he does not retire.
“His answer is always the same:“ I will ride until the wheels do not fall off. ”It is a pity that we do not live in a world that appreciates knowledge, experience and wisdom that we can only learn from our elders who have survived on this planet for many decades. We are fixated on youth and physical beauty, which, oddly enough, does not teach us anything instantly,” Madonna said.
She complemented her message with a video, where, in particular, she showed her father.
