Every year, the subject of cherry causes discussions on the web. On Internet groups and in social media there are regular photos from bazaars, which show that for these fruits you have to pay high amounts, sometimes even PLN 160-200 per kilo. How will it be this year?

Usually, after a difficult fruit season, the prices of the first fruits on the wholesale market reach much higher levels, reflecting limited supply and high production costs. Meanwhile, this year's debut of cherries in Broniszach suggests that the market situation may be more stable than originally assumed.

According to data from the SAD24.pl portal, more expensive cherries are imported, and their prices reach from 35 to even 65 PLN per kilo. Interestingly, last year the price was about PLN 15. What's more, according to predictions, prices can still go up.
This year's cherry season is just beginning, and its further course will depend on many factors, including the weather and interest from customers. However, it can already be seen that the fruit market in Poland can surprise. As the fruit growers noted, the most this season is strawberries, and prices range from PLN 12 to 35 for one lubble. However, apples and apricots lack.
