Today, the spokesman of the Ministry of Interior and Administration Jacek Dobrzyński responded to queries that concern the explanation of the case at the stage of assigning a security certificate to Karol Nawrocki by the Internal Security Agency in 2021. He announced that in the matter of purchasing a studio by Karol Nawrocki, the necessary materials were collected and despite the negative recommendation he received a certificate.

“In view of numerous media queries, I confirm that the Internal Security Agency, in the course of the expanded procedure, checking Mr. Karol Nawrocki in 2021, collected materials regarding the method and sources of financing the purchase of an apartment from Jerzy. Having the whole knowledge, including, among others, about the negative recommendation of an officer analyzing the files” – wrote Dobrzyński on Platform X.
Prime Minister Donald Tusk, who criticized the ABW's actions during PiS rule, also referred to this matter.
