The case concerns not only the relationship between one of the best Polish players and his former agent, but also potential financial and tax irregularities. Records can be a key proof in a criminal case in which Kucharski is accused of using unlawful threats to force EUR 20 million. The court must now assess whether these talks really testify to blackmail.

Relations between Lewandowski and Kucharski began to break down in 2017.when the footballer decided to end cooperation with the manager. At the same time, an economic matter is going on in which the court is investigating how much Robert Lewandowski should pay to Kucharski for leaving the company. The conflict between the parties seems far from the solution, and subsequent hearings can bring new, surprising information.
“Robert Lewandowski informed on Monday that he would not come to the next matches of the team, June 6 with Moldova and June 10 with Finland. However, in Poland it will be. On June 11 and 12, he will appear before the Warsaw-Śródmieście District Court as a witness in the case. Kucharski himself, as the accused, is not obliged to provide explanations and has not decided on this option for now.
