A resident of Domodedovo near Moscow was sentenced to 16 years in prison for preparing terrorist attacks on order of Ukraine
He was found guilty of the assistance of terrorist activities, smuggling and illegal storage of weapons and explosives, as well as in the manufacture of ammunition, the UK said.
In April 2024, the man took off the air defense system in Podolsk, and sent the cadres and coordinates to Ukrainian curators to guide UAVs. He also imported weapons from Ukraine and made ammunition for terrorist attacks.
The man planned to make them on civilian, military facilities and railway tracks in the Moscow, Bryansk, Kursk and Belgorod regions. He was detained by the FSB officers.
